John graduated with a Law and Society degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1991. John earned his J.D. degree from San Joaquin College of Law in 1994.
After law school John joined the Tulare County District Attorney's office in 1995, where he worked for over nine successful years.
John's experience at the prosecutor's office included handling all types of misdemeanor and felony cases. While at the district atttorney's office John personally handled over 85 jury trials, hundreds of preliminary hearings and motions, and thousands of court appearances.
At the district attorney's office Attorney John K. Jackson served on the murder unit, adult and juvenile gang unit, violent crimes unit, juvenile unit and supervised and trained many lawyers on different criminal law issues. As part of his experience, John has gone to many law enforcement training seminars on gangs, violent crimes, drugs, and driving under the influence.
In 2003, John founded the Law Offices of John K. Jackson, emphasizing in criminal defense. Since then, John has successfully represented numerous clients in numerous courts throughout the State of California. Angelica is a certified paralegal from the University of San Diego, specializing in Criminal Law. She graduated from California State University, Fresno with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.
Prior to working at our firm, Angelica worked as a Paralegal at the Tulare County District Attorney's office.
Angelica was also a paralegal intern at the San Diego County District Attorney's office.
